This report is part of a series produced by the American Institute of Architects. Individually, the reports affirm six evidence-based design approaches that positively influence human health through design practices and policies: environmental quality, natural systems, physical activity, safety, sensory environments, and social connectedness. The series converges architecture with public health and leads designers to ask:
