Housing
Health begins in our homes, schools, and neighborhoods. A resilient housing system is one that allows for affordability and greater housing types and ownership within existing neighborhoods, while ensuring more fortification and storm resistance for those homes. Financial literacy is integral to the process, building capacity for more of the region's residents to buy homes, while zoning ordinances can allow for a variety of housing types to increase access to affordable options.
